The Port's best kept secret, The Port Anchor Hotel previously known as the Kent Hotel, opened in 1876. It orignally began as two stone houses back in 1873, then formally converted into a hotel.
The hotel changed names to The Port Anchor Hotel in the mid 1990's, and then adopted the Art Deco appearance in the 1940's.
The Port Anchor Hotel has been owned by Jeff & Vicki for the past 16 years where they and their staff continue to provide their customers with personalized service.
